Sheebah Karungi has worked from grass to grace and within a period of just 15 years, she is one of the most influential women in Uganda.
The enterprising Sheebah Karungi has also over the years established herself as a feminist who empowers the girl child. Because of this, she started a sanitary pads company known as Holic Pads that was launched over the weekend.
She has promised to give over 500 Ugandan girls opportunities to work because she believes every one of them deserves an opportunity “You have all seen me move to the top. I am a true definition of from grass to grace. As a woman, I am looking at empowering girls from ghettos of Uganda by giving them employment opportunities,” she said in a local television interview.
Sheebah also launched an events company and a bar over the weekend.
