In the 32nd minute, URA FC levelled matters through Nyakonjo’s bullet header past Charles Lukwago off a well taken Moses Sseruyidde corner kick.

At the start of the second half, KCCA FC coach Mike Mutebi made double substitutions when he brought on Bright Anukani and Steven Sserwadda for Samson Kigozi and Loro Mazengo to ensure that he avoids a defeat on home turf.
