Kyetume FC will be seeking to return to winning ways when they host table leaders Vipers SC on Tuesday at Njeru Technical Centre.

Vipers SC on the other hand overcame a resilient UPDF FC with a 1-0 victory in their previous game, thanks to a Yunus Sentamu late winner.

Last season when the two sides met, Vipers SC managed a double over Kyetume FC. The Venoms are currently top of the UPL log with 14 points while Kyetume FC are eighth with 9 points.

Vipers SC skipper Halid Lwaliwa says that the game is important to them as they seek to extend their lead at the top.

“This game is as important as other games for us, we have to keep focused and also play with determination and hope for the best. There is still a long way to go but we are taking one game at a time until we get there.” Halid Lwaliwa.

The hosts are expected to welcome back their head coach Livingstone Mbabazi after ending his leave as he was attending the burial of his mother.

They will however be without defender Benon Tahomera and Midfielder Nicholas Kasozi who are still facing the club suspension. David Oyeda and Mike Fahe will also miss out due to licenses issues.

The visitors will welcome back forward Muhammad Shaban who has missed the previous two games. Aziz Kayondo and Bobosi Byaruhanga will defiantly miss since they are with the Uganda Hippos team.

Kyetume will look up Mujuzi Mustafa, Baker Buyala, Feni Ali and Sharif Saaka for inspiration whereas Vipers will look at Paul Mucureezi, Abdul Karim Watambala and Yunus Sentamu are expected to fire the visitors to maximum points.
