The Ugandan Film Industry is growing at a rapid speed thanks to a number of investors that have injected in millions of shillings and the ever-emerging unbeatable talents like Martha Kay

To be precise, the industry is like a wave limelight. It keeps growing with those interested in growing with it and shining on whoever it chooses.

Bootylicious Martha Kay, a sensational actress, comedian, and down-to-earth entertainer is one of those the wave limelight has decided to shine on.

A graduate of Mass Communication from the Mukono-based Uganda Christian University (UCU), Martha Kay captured the attention of the media, after a skit, of her being knocked by a Range Rover, literally broke the internet. It is from this that she came to be famously referred to as the ‘Range Rover Girl’. The rest, as they say, is history.

With too much passion for acting, Martha Kay joined the Film industry and has so far featured in a number of films like Reach A Hand’s ‘Kyadala’, ‘Bed Of Thorns’, her latest “The Blind Date’ among others.

‘The Blind Date’, is a short film is directed by the multi-talented Loukman Ali.

Besides Martha Kay, it features some of the biggest talents in the Ugandan film industry like Michael Wawuyo, Raymond Rushabiro, Patriq Nkakalukanyi, and Riverdan Rugaju.

The crime action drama short film was shot in Kampala, the Capital of Uganda. It is about one man that hits a jackpot with a con but decides to stay around for more than just his loot.
