Police Cops Grab Ssegirinya
Chaotic Kawempe North MP-Elect, Mohammed Ssegirinya has been grabbed and arrested by police in downtown Kampala on Monday morning.
Ssegirinya was grabbed like a chicken thief by an army of police cops around Mini Price supermarket and bundled onto the back of a police pickup truck.
The Kawempe MP Elect was leading a protest with a handful of his supporters, demanding the unconditional release of NUP supporters who have been arrested and detained.
His arrest follows a declaration by the NUP party president Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi wine calling on his supporters to defiantly protest until all political prisoners are freed, abductions and arbitrary arrests come to an end and justice is done for the 2021 presidential election malpractice.
Police Cops Grab Ssegirinya
Last week ,Bobi wine was arrested and driven back to his home on 2 seperate occassions .
He was first arrested at the city square alongside NUP party members while protesting with placards and his second arrest happened after he attempted to petition the CDF David Muhoozi and minister for defense Adolf Mwesigye for the unconditional release of all political prisoners.
