Martin Kizza Finally Completes

Following several months of speculation, former Sports Club Villa and KCCA Football Club winger Martin Kizza has finally completed a move to the Six-time Uganda Premier League champions, Express FC.

Kizza joins the Red Eagles on a one-year employment contract as a free agent having left South Africa’s Royal Eagles months ago.

Speaking to the club website after completing his move to the Red Eagles, Kizza says he is happy to join the club and wants to help them win silverware this season.

He said: “I am happy to join this great historical club where winning silverware is a priority. I already feel at home because the players have been so welcoming and I can’t wait to fight for the badge and help the club win silverware this season.”

The Wankulukuku based side’s head coach, Wasswa Bbosa confirms that Kizza is a good addition to the team, but will have to earn his place into the team.

“I have known Kizza for a while now, he is a hardworking and focused player, he joins us at a crucial time although he has to prove to get into the team. For me he brings speed in attack and creativity as well, so he’s a good addition.”

Before moving to South Africa in 2019, Martin Kizza had featured for KCCA FC and SC Villa in Uganda for more than four seasons, so he will add experience to the Express team that sits third on the log with 32 points garnered in 15 games.
