Police is hunting for 4 suspects who disguised as National Water and Sewerage Cooperation NWSC staff to enter a residence in Kyambogo in a robbery incident.
In a video that is circulating the social media waves,3 men and 1 woman access the home in Kyambogo under the disguise of NWSC staff and are led by a man to the meter box area ,only fro him to be grabbed by them .
Luke Owoyesigirye the Kampala Deputy metropolitan spokesperson says the thugs dragged the chef identified as into the house and later robbed him of Shs 85m shillings.
He says police captured some footage and have arrested a maid in the residence identified as Kyasimire Annet to help with investigations.
He says Kyasimire was the first to report the matter to police at Kyambogo station.She claims she was also tied up by the thugs.
“ The assailants were 4,3 men one woman, entered the household while purporting to be from NWSC, asking for a meter box which the chef,yang yong showed them, they held him from behind violently and took him inside the building,they later got access to one of the safes and took away money that was there. Owesigirye says.
Owesigirye says police is still looking through the footage although and trying to identify the thugs who had covered their faces with helmets.
