Ex International Ugandan footballer Sulaiman Mutyaba has been beaten by police as he matched with his team to the Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) offices today to demand for the player’s compensation from the federation President Moses Magogo with posters calling for his resignation as the president.

Police this afternoon has taken outspoken former Cranes striker Mike Sulaiman Mutyaba for staging an unlawful procession.

Mutyaba accuses FUFA president Moses Magogo of misappropriation of players’ monies.

Recently, Magogo came out blatantly to claim that players do not have a right to demand for pay following their poor exhibition at the CHAN tournament which he termed as ‘shitty football’

It is against this background that Mutyaba mobilised a group youths to demonstrate against Magogo and ask him to step down from office.

Mutyaba has also been undergoing a fierce social media and cyber battle with Cranes team manager Patrick Ntege on the same matters.
