Mr. Updates Ssegirinya Now In Intensive
The Kawempe North MP-elect Mohammed Ssegirinya aka Mr. Updates is reportedly in a bad state as he battles for life in a hospital in Nairobi,Kenya.
Ssegirinya was referred to Aga khan hospital by doctors in Sseguku after his health condition worsened following his release from Kitalya prison.
It is reported that while admitted at Sseguku, Ssegirinya had ear and abdominal complications.
He was granted a cash bail of 3 million shillings by the Buganda road grade 1 magistrate Kamasanyu Gladys on Friday last week after his lawyers told court his health was bad and he needed to access better treatment.
Ssegirinya who appeared in court via video conferencing looked frail and un well and had a cannular on his left hand.
Mr. Updates Ssegirinya Now In Intensive
Now the latest news from sources close to him indicate that Ssegirinya has been taken into the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as he battles for life.
“After ear cardiology scan turned bad, MP Ssegirinya is now in ICU,” says the Admin of the page.
On Monday this same page alleged that the doctors at Aga khan Hospital revealed that he had been poisoned although ,these are all reports we are yet to substantiate.
He was arrested on March 22, 2021, as he led a peaceful demonstration demanding the release of the National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters that are being held by security operatives in various detention centers.
This comes as the Kawempe North MP-elect is equally battling another court case filed by a National Unity Platform-NUP leaning MP Kidandala Suleiman over his academic qualifications.
Suleiman dragged Ssegirinya to high court challenging his ‘O’ and ‘A’ level papers that he insists were forged .He now wants the results nullified and fresh elections ordered.
