Akon,15 Heads Of State To Attend Museveni Swearing-In

All seems to be set for President Museveni’s swearing in ceremony that is slated for 12 May 2021 .

President Museveni won the January 14th, 2021 polls with a 58 percent margin and was declared President-elect by the independent electoral commission-EC.

Museveni now awaits to be officially inaugurated on the 12th of next month for a sixth term in a ceremony that will be attended by over 15 heads of state in addition to other dignitaries.

These include among others; Uhuru Kenyatta(Kenya), Samia Suluhu Hassan(Tanzania) Cyril Ramaphosa(South Africa), Salva Kiir(South Sudan), Paul Kagame(Rwanda), Felix Tshisekedi(DRC), Teodoro Obiang Nguema(Equatorial Guinea), Emmerson Mnangagwa (Zimbabwe) and Edgar Lungu (Zambia) .

Akon,15 Heads Of State To Attend Museveni Swearing-In

Also expected at the official event is the renowned Senegalese-American singer and business mogu lAliaune Damala Badara aka Akon .

Although the State House is yet to comment or confirm the matter,sources privy to us say the singer already expressed interest in attending the auspicious occasion.

Akon was recently in Uganda to sign a heavy business deal that would see him construct a futuristic city on one square mile piece of land.

The deal is expected to boost Uganda’s tourism sector and usher in more investments into the country.
