Kakaire Argues Magogo

Once a FUFA president Hajji Twaha Kakaire has argued the current FUFA president Eng. Moses Magogo not to ever attack players since when they represent the nation they hold the national flag.

He has addressed all this while at the ForteBet Real Stars sports monthly awards at Route 256 in Kampala where he was invited as the chief guest of the function.

The ForteBet Real Stars sports agency awards the winning personalities of the month and for the month of April, they have awarded Rugby, Motor rally as well as football.

In Rubgy, James Ijongat who trades his sport in Betway Kobs won the award, Jas Mangat from Motor Rally won the category and he has been represented by his co-driver Joseph Kamya. Jas Mangat beat Duncan Mubiru ‘Kikankane’ for the award.

Joseph Kamya has narrated that “when we went to Kenya it was not an easy event, a tough one though we managed to finish in third position on that day”

Sam Ssekamatte from Bright Star who has so far scored eight goals in the Startimes Uganda Premier League moreover after missing five games at the start of the season, he roughly competed with Yunus Sentamu who is the current top scorer of the Startimes Uganda Premier League with 12 goals and he has also beat Uganda Revenue Authority captain Shafik Kagimu.

Ssekamate was on the scoresheet twice as Bright Stars defeated Kitara 3-1. He scored one goal each when Bright Stars beat Wakiso Giants 3-2, MYDA 3-0, Express 3-2 and KCCA FC 2-0 respectively. He was also on the score sheet twice when Bright Stars defeated Paidha Black Angels 3-1 to eliminate them in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32.

The former FUFA president who never wanted to call him ‘former’ but a president Hajji Twaha Kakaire has scooped the Life time award.

Twaha Kakaire at 76 years of age has demanded the football governing body for the U-12 that went to Eritrea in 1996.
