Police FC has become the third club to advance to the semi-finals of the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup joining Bul fc and Vipers Sports Club.

This is after they lost 2-0 to Wakiso Giants in the second leg of their quarter-finals tie to qualify to the semi-finals on away goals rule after a 3-3 aggregate scoreline. Vianne Ssekajugo scored in both halves.

Police won the first leg 3-1 at the Kabaka Kyabaggu Stadium, Wakiso last week so a 2-0 victory by Wakiso Giants was enough to overturn the first leg result and qualify to the last four on Friday.

Vianne Ssekajungo netted a goal  in each half for the Purple Sharks during the return leg. He had his first in the 19th minute with a sublime strike before capitalizing on Tom Ikara’s howler goalkeeping to net his second in the 65th minute.
