FDC Throws Out VP Ssebugwawo

The Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) has finally reacted to the Ministerial appointment of its Vice president Joyce Naboosa Ssebugwawo.

This comes after she formally accepted President Yoweri Museveni’s offer to join his bandwagon cabinet as State Minister for ICT and has since voluntarily resigned as the deputy of FDC.

In a statement released by the party president Patrick Amuriat Oboi , Ssebugwawo violated the FDC constitution when she accepted the appointment.

“I can confirm that she has accepted the appointment and as a result has offended Article 12 of the FDC Constitution. She, therefore, ceases to be a member of FDC and has accordingly voluntarily relinquished her position as Deputy President,” Amuriat said.
