Diamond was photographed in the back of the SUV with Zoom Extra video director Kenny but feigned not knowing anything about the vehicle.

While holding back a smile, Diamond said he learned about the vehicle when the photos surfaced online.

I don’t know anything about that. I have been seeing people posting about the vehicle on social media, but I have not shared anything about it. I know nothing about it. I just saw the photos the same way you saw them,” he said.

When pressed to confirm the vehicle’s existence, he cheekily opted not to give a definite answer.

“I don’t know. Those who posted it know best,” he said.

Forbes list saga

Diamond also spoke of his hard-hitting message to Forbes after a fake list of Africa’s wealthiest artists emerged.

“Next time, Google me to know what I am really worth before putting me on your stupid list,” the singer wrote at the time.

According to Diamond, he perceived it as a move meant to look down upon Swahili musicians.

“I saw it as a move meant to disrespect Swahili artistes. I could not sit back and let people look down on us,” Diamond said.

Zari Hassan was the first to share photos and clips of the luxury vehicle. Zari posted a video while with Diamond in the back of the vehicle and captioned it;

“come let us take a mini tour of Diamond’s new monster with Mama Lady”.

Diamond’s long-term friend and Wasafi TV presenter Juma Lokole later revealed that the singer had acquired a Cadillac Escalade Concept One Curve, which goes for around KSh 32 million.
