Faking Pregnancy Tests To Beat Check-points
Police in Mbale City have revealed that desperate women have now resorted to the trick of faking pregnancy test results to pass through roadblocks.
Fred Ahimbisibwe, the District Police Commander (DPC) says it has come to their knowledge that some women now board Boda Bodas under the guise of seeking antenatal services from hospitals in the City center to get free passes.

Ahimbisibwe says police have so far busted a few of these dramatic women after they were subjected to additional checks by female police cops.
“At Mbale-Kumi Road one of them started yelling like somebody who is in labor. When she was asked to get off the Bodaboda so that she can be helped into a police pickup to rush her to the hospital, she took off, he says
He adds that Police have now put in place tighter measures at the traffic road points and all culprits will face the law.
”We want to sound a warning to all people doing this that once caught, the law shall take its course,” he states.
President Yoweri Museveni’s put a ban on all public and private travels on hold for 42 days as one of the measures to contain surging cases of Covid-19.
