Defending Champions KCCA FC

CECAFA-Kagame Cup Defending Champions KCCA FC have today returned the trophy they won in 2020 to the tournament Organising Committee.

Head of Ugandan Delegation and Makindye Division Mayor Ali Kasirye Mulyanyama officially handed over the trophy to the Zonal Director of Competitions Mr. Yousuf Mossi at Tiffany Diamond Hotel in Dar es salaam City, Tanzania.

Mossi commended KCCA football club for maintaining the trophy in it’s original shape. KCCA lost their opening game 0-2 to Azam on Monday evening. Coach Morley Byekwaso however insists he will correct the mistakes of the first game to ensure this same trophy returns to Kampala City. His counterpart for Azam FC Vivier Bahati said in a post match press conference that his boys were also determined to retain the trophy home.
