A 59-year-old man from Kirasa 1 cell, Masindi central division, in Masindi Municipality is nursing a bad injury after his angry wife bit off his ear in a domestic fight.
Simon Kabuubi lost part of his ear after accusing his wife of 25yrs, Beatrice Abigaba of serving her beans to another man.
During the heated argument that started at 11 pm in the night, in their bedroom, Abigaba in a rage of anger pounced on Kabuubi biting off his ear.
A yelling Kabuubi soon attracted neighbors who came to his rescue, separating him from the bitter wife who was going for the other ear.
Kabuubi was taken to a nearby clinic that night where he was given first aid to stop the bleeding, meanwhile, police were called to handle the matter further and his unapologetic wife Abigaba was arrested.
Hamza Kabaka, the Kirasa cell LC1 Chairperson says the couple has had disagreements on the same topic several times before with Kabuubi insisting his wife is unfaithful.
He says his office has severally handled and advised the couple on how to live in harmony in their marriage but the situation kept on worsening.
