It is a day of happiness for Doreen Kabareebe as she becomes the first Ugandan model to hit 1 million followers on Instagram.

1 million followers on Instagram is still a big feat for several African stars and the Kabareebe Models boss could not hide her happiness as soon as she realized that her official Instagram had notched a million followers.

Kabareebe who has been spending most of her time doing philanthropic work during the lockdown could not hide her excitement when she took to social media to appreciate her followers and advise them on how to be successful Instagrammers. “Thank you to everyone who follows me. I appreciate it so much. You made it happen. It was not easy.” She said.

“I use hashtags, I make sure to engage (with followers) plus boosting posts to reach lots of people especially when I am advertising any of my businesses or when I am influencing.” She added.

Doreen Kabareebe (born December 25, 1990), is a Ugandan fashion model, socialite, branding coach, and philanthropist. Doreen contested in different beauty pageants including that of Miss Uganda in 2010.

Doreen Kabareebe studied at Entebbe Kindergarten, Lakeside Academy for her primary, Wanyange Girls School for both “O” and “A” levels and in 2012 graduated from Nkumba University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration as well as a Master of Arts in International Relations and Diplomacy in 2016 from the same university.

She was awarded the Miss Uganda World International 2020 title on August 24th, 2020 as she beat other delegates from East African Countries hands down through an online competition to represent East Africa at the Ms world international beauty pageant which was held in Miami Florida between August 8th-11th, 2021.
