Arena of Visions

URA FC will be hosting all 2021/22 season home games at the Arena of Visions at Ndejje University in Bombo.

This will only be the second full season at Ndejje University Stadium since URA started hosting home games in Bombo, Luweero, in the second round of the 2019/20 season.

Since leaving the busy Mandela National Stadium for the Arena of Visions in 2020, the Tax Collectors have gone on to turn the stadium into a fortress. Their first game in Bombo was against Villa on January 7, 2020, and URA FC have since lost only twice there; 2-1 to Police on March 6, 2020 and the second – a narrow 1-0 loss only coming in February 2021 against Express.

In the first season, URA in the last 5 games won four (2-0 vs SC Villa, 1-0 vs Bright Stars, 2-1 vs KCCA FC and 3-1 Vipers SC) and lost only one against (1-2 vs Police).

At the Arena of Visions last season, URA managed to avoid defeat 12 of the 13 times they played at home, winning 10, drawing 2 and losing the other to Express by a goal to nothing.

The league resumes this month, and the Tax Collectors will still target the title starting with the first home game on Friday, October 29, 2021 against UPDF, before hosting BUL FC on Saturday, November 20.

The Tax Collectors are under the stewardship of veteran coach Sam Timbe who will be assisted by the club’s former player Simeon Masaba.
