Bryan Kella McKenzie is a veteran media personality.

It is without a single doubt that Sheebah Karungi is one of the biggest musicians in Uganda at the moment.

Having bagged numerous awards, released chat topping singles, she deserves all the praise from music enthusiasts and lovers.

Despite her great success, Sheebah has been branded by many as one who is just lucky but not talented because her vocal abilities are not top-notch and as good as her competitors like Rema Namakula, Lydia Jazmine among others.

Because of this, veteran media personality Bryan Kella Mckenzie has advised Sheebah not to change her style in order to go International because she will lose a huge local market base that already fell in love with her. “If Sheebah decides to change her sound, Ugandans are going to bite her. What she is doing is in the pool of what Ugandans like and so, whatever she does is what Uganda will like, the reason she is doing great here,” he explained in an interview.

Kella however advised Sheebah to take advantage of big collaborations if she wants to International.

However, local musicians have been criticized for not thinking beyond the local market and looking at the bigger International market as a reason their music has struggled to cross borders.
