On Thursday morning, Chipper Cash unveiled three brand ambassadors in Spice Diana, Faridah Nakazibwe, and Anne Kansiime to help in driving brand and product awareness at an event held at Mestil Hotel in Nsambya.

Dan Tumuramye, Chipper Cash’s Managing Director who has worked with the trio previously as media influencers said one of Africa’s biggest Fintechs decided to elevate them because of the good working relationship they have had in the past and Chipper Cash’s belief in local talent. “As the official Ambassadors, they will continue to seed the Chipper mission of moving money freely, educate their audiences and our customers about the brand, our products, and services, as well as help us to reach the grassroots. As an African brand with a global presence, we believe in the talent and potential of the continent, and Spice Diana, Kansiime, and Nakazibwe have built strong personal brands in Uganda and beyond that, we are proud to associate with.” Tumuramye said.

Soon after the unveiling, Spice Diana thanked Chipper Cash for opening her doors because it was the first brand to trust her and others followed. She also expressed her gratitude for having been allowed to continue working with Chipper Cash. “For the last one year, I enjoyed being part of this family and for sure, I am so excited to continue with this journey as an Ambassador for the fastest growing mobile app that you can use to send and receive money across Africa, UK, and the US as well as investment.” She said.

Kansiime promised to cooperate with the two of her colleagues to ensure that their brand shines more. “All my ninjas know that I don’t attach my name to a brand unless I believe in it. The time I’ve spent with Chipper has confirmed that I made the right call to partner with the brand, they are innovative, professional, and genuinely care about their customers,” she said.

Faridah Nakazibwe also welcomed the opportunity and noted that the period she has spent as an influencer for Chipper has opened her eyes to the ease of investment.

The trio joins Chipper Cash global ambassador Burna Boy and other ambassadors like Simi who are representing the brand in other markets for a truly African representation.
