Teacher defiles, balloons 15- year- old pupil
A primary school teacher in Kibaale who failed to keep his pants closed has been arrested for having sexual relations with a 15- year -old primary seven pupil.
Geoffrey Kirungi, a teacher at Bugwara Primary school in Kicucura sub county, Kagadi district is in police custody at Kibaale central police station for defilement.
Kirungi also a resident of Kabasekende sub county Kibaale district sexually molested the teenager studying at Devine Nursery and primary school in Kabasekende sub county Kibaale district.
Locals allege that the victim was always seen at Kirungi’s home under the pretext that she was doing coaching until she started to show signs of pregnancy.
The victim (names withheld) says she was advised by the teacher to seek guidance on the science subject because her performance was lagging. She says the teacher took advantage of her while teaching about reproduction in women and asked her for a practical lesson.

Esther Tumusiime Adeke , the Kibaale District Police Commander (DPC) says investigations into the matter are currently ongoing and that the suspect will appear in court .
In a related development, Moses Byaruhanga Korondi, a school director of Kiduma Parents Nursery and Primary school in Kiryanga Sub County, Kagadi district is on the run on allegations of defiling and impregnating 14-year old teenager girl.
The P4 class teenager girl has been studying at the same school. The Suspect is also a parish councilor for Kiduma Parish in Kiryanga Sub County.
