Sibling singers, Esther and Ezekiel Mutesasira have left the audience stunned after putting up a stellar performance at Canada Has Got Talent (CGT) season 3 auditions.

Esther, 17, and Ezekiel,13, out-did themselves as they performed Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown’s 2008 hit song, ‘No Air’, and the sensational youngsters received a standing ovation from all the four judges and the crowd.

The siblings progressed to the next stage. Their mother, Julie Mutesasira, was also present at the auditions.

Canada’s Got Talent is a Canadian television reality talent show that debuted on the CityTV network on March 4, 2012, and is part of the global Got Talent franchise.

As with other series in the franchise, the show is a competition in which entertainers in various fields compete to win a prize. This year’s winner will be granted a cash prize of $150,000 (about Shs528 million).

The Ugandan sibling singing duo won the first season of East Africa’s Got Talent in October 2019, at the ages of 14 (Esther) and 11 (Ezekiel). The duo came out to claim that they didn’t receive their prize money, which the organizers trashed. The franchise’s production coordinator, Katson Horace, revealed that they paid $37,000 to the winners’ father, Pr. Steven Mutesasira, and were only left with $13,000, which they were ready to pay until the mother, Julie Mutesasira, sabotaged the payment process.
