Shaban Muhammad returns

Shaban Muhammad has penned a two-year deal with KCCA FC from 2022 – 2024 as per the club’s official website.

Shaban returns to KCCA FC for his second stint after having served the club in the 2017/18 season before joining Morocco side Raja Casablanca where he played for the 2018/19 season.

Muhammad would later join Vipers SC where he served for two years 2019-2021 and then went back to Onduparaka FC for the 2021/22 season.

Shaban is a centre forward with pace, great first touch, good aerial prowess, fine technique, and an eye for goal.

“I am so happy to return to KCCA FC. This is my second stint at the club and I come with experience that I have earned over the years. I am a better player and I want to show that on the field of play. My role as a striker is to score goals and it’s these goals that will help us win trophies and get back to the CAF competitions because that is where this club should be playing,” Shaban narrates.

Shaban will compete for a spot in the squad with the likes of Tshisungu Kankonde, Sadat Anaku, Brian Aheebwa, Brian Kayanja, and Charles Lwanga among others.

Shaban becomes the seventh player to join KCCA FC in this transfer window after Tshisungu Kankonde, Moses Waiswa, Ssenoga Muhamed, and teenagers Faisal Wabyoona, Saidi Mayanja, and Allan Enyou.

The talented 24-year-old, did not have a pleasant time while in Morocco, as he only managed to register one goal out of his seven appearances.
