When it comes to fashion sense, Ghetto First Lady, Barbie Itungo Kyagulanyi, rubs shoulders with the very best in Uganda. Her love for turning heads whenever she steps out is unrivalled. Be it red carpet events, ‘People Power’ VIP parties, wedding ceremonies, baby showers or birthday parties, Barbie never disappoints as she chooses the best outfit for the day.

We have always had a chance to gaze at her birthday photoshoots, where the stunning mother-of-four goes an extra mile to hire top fashionistas to give her more fashion ideas.

Last year, she hired Spice Diana’s service to work magic on her while celebrating her 35th birthday. Indeed, Spice Diana understood the assignment as Barbie made a fashion statement. Apparently, she spent over UGX20 million on her look. Each elegant dress she put on cost her an estimated UGX10 million.

According to Maama Kampala, who doubles as Bobi Wine’s sweetheart, fashion is showing who you are through dressing. It is expressing how you feel about yourself through what you wear. Fashion is standing out and making people associate what you wear with who you are. Fashion is finding a place in the ever changing world trends.

With her boo, Bobi Wine, donning a snow white suit, floral T-shirt, plus a big sombrero hat and black shades, and Barbie 35, stunning in a short white dress-top and white steppers, the power couple, whose dream to at least spend nights in the State House is still very much alive, turned heads.

However, Barbie’s dress was not just your usual dress. We need to fuss a little about it!

First off, the little short dress, which rings at about UGX 45,000 in downtown Kampala shops ( about 8k in Owino Market), enables Barbie to show off some skin. She nicely puts her gorgeous legs, plus the smooth road to thigh-land on display, presumably, for the world to drool on.

Taking to her Instagram page, with over 930,000 followers, Barbie posted the pics and captioned; “Loved myself today. Felt weekendy all day.” Netizens couldn’t resist lavishing praise on her.
