Ministry of Foreign affairs responds to Muhoozi’s ground breaking tweets as it clears air on the Uganda-Kenya relations

Uganda’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has finally issued a statement in response to the controversial tweets that the Commander of the UPDF Land Forces, Lt Gen Muhoozi Kaneirugaba posted last evening revealing how Uganda’s military would capture Kenya’s capital City, Nairobi, in less than two weeks.

“It wouldn’t take us, my army and me, 2 weeks to capture Nairobi” Muhoozi tweeted.

The sporadic statement have since left many people bewildered and some wondering whether Kainerugaba was indeed in charge of his twitter handle.

Some of Muhoozi’s defenders like Agriculture minister Frank Tumwebaze have urged the public not to take the tweets seriously because they are made in jest.

As a way of perhaps clearing the air on the relation between the two countries, the ministry of Foreign Affairs has today afternoon issued a statement revealing that their isn’t any bad blood between the two countries and that Uganda hasn’t carried out any of it’s foreign decisions on social media.
