Uncle chewing 12-year-old girl
Police in Lwengo have netted a ruthless man captured in a video clip defiling his twelve year old in an incomplete building.
The suspect identified as Bulunga John was recorded by the mother to the victim called Nakaweesi Juliet, after she busted him live in action at 1:00 pm on September 28, 2022 at an abandoned building in Kikonge village, Kkingo sub-county in Lwengo district .
Preliminary findings from police indicate that Bulunga had consistently been defiling his niece and her younger sister since 2020 until late last month when his luck ran out and was found red-handed by the victim’s mother.
Police Spokesperson, Fred Enanga told journalists on Monday that the mother recorded a video of the suspect and shared it with TV stations and various social media platforms before reporting to police at Lwengo that same day.

He says the Bulunga was tracked down and arrested while in hiding at his mother’s home in Nkalwe village, Kiganda parish, Kkingo sub-county in Lwengo district.
Police also arrested Bulunga’s wicked mother, called Nakakande for for harbouring a wanted suspect and threatening to harm her daughter-in-law, for reporting the matter to police.
A blood stained maroon cloth suspected to have used at the scene was recovered. Enanga says police has since recorded statement from the 12-year-old and her sibling both victims of aggravated defilement by the uncle.
He says they are now under the care and better management of the Sexual Gender Based Violence- SGBV department at the CID Headquarters.
In another development, police in Katakwi, has nabbed a suspect identified as Okumu Emmanuel, caught red handed by parents of a twelve year old in a room defiling his victim.
The disturbing incident happened on September 26,2022, at around 6am, in Damasiko village, Kapujan parish, in Katakwi district.
Enanga says the suspect was arrested and taken to Apapai police.Enanga appealed to parents to be cautious and vigilant with the girl child especially because they are capable of being defiled by people they trust.
“Such acts of abuse of the girl victim’s is a betrayal of trust and exploitation by guardians like teachers, uncles, neighbours who instead of protecting the girl children, took advantage of them,” Enanga says.
