Eddy Kenzo hopes to bring prestigious Grammy Award back home

As much as getting the Grammy Award nomination for his song ‘Gimme love’ was kind of a shock to not only Kenzo but the entire music industry, the boy from Masaka still believes he can surprise people by eventually bringing the prestigious award back home.

Kenzo sent shock waves in the entire music industry when it was announced that he was nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category for his song, Give Me Love, alongside Arooj Aftab and Anoushka Shankar, Burna Boy, Rocky Dawuni and Blvk H3ro, and Bayethe Wouter Kellerman, Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo Zikode.

Even when his his baby mama and fellow singer, Rema Namakula is yet to congratulate him, Kenzo has promised his close friends that he will do whatever it takes to bring the award home.

Singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is one of the fathers of Ugandan music. The love you everyday singer was quick to congratulated Kenzo upon getting the nomination, calling upon all artistes to support him.

“Your humble behaviour will always be the key to open all your opportunities. May Allah bless you more because this nomination is a win for you and all of us as Ugandans. Let’s bring this Grammy to Uganda,” Bebe Cool noted.
