SuperSport viewers on DStv and GOtv can look forward to group stage, Matchday 1 action from the 2024 UEFA European Championship qualification on Friday 24 March 2023.

DStv and GOtv is the only true home of football in Africa, offering a range and depth of action that no other rival can match – it’s literally ‘Unbeatable Football’! If you’re going to spend your money on something, it may as well be on the best football in the world.

The top clash on Friday 24 March comes from Group B and sees France take on the Netherlands at Stade de France just outside of Paris. Les Bleus are still smarting from their 2022 World Cup final defeat at the hands of Argentina, but coach Didier Deschamps is determined to vindicate the federation’s decision to keep him in charge until 2026.

“I thank the president [of the FFF, Noel Le Graet] for his constant support and his continued confidence in me,” Deschamps said. “It is essential for the France team to function well.”

Another notable clash on Friday comes from the Friends Arena in Stockholm, as Sweden and Belgium meet for a Group F match. The Red Devils axed Roberto Martinez in the wake of their poor showing at the 2022 World Cup, and his successor, Domenico Tedesco, is hoping to get the best out of star players who seemed listless at the global tournament in Qatar.

“De Bruyne was not smiling at the World Cup? If you say so, then it’s clear that we have to talk with the players to make them happy, but above all motivated,” Tedesco said.

The other matches on Friday see Bulgaria tackle Montenegro, Greece visit Gibraltar, the Czech Republic play host to Poland in a crunch Group E match in Prague, Moldova tackle the Faroe Islands, Austria welcome Azerbaijan, and Serbia tackle Lithuania – with Eagles coach Dragan Stojkovic hoping to build on some of the promising performances they displayed at Qatar 2022.

“We played without some important players because of injury, but still we had some good moments,” said Stojkovic. “We know we can be better and make our supporters proud.”

No rival can compete with SuperSport’s coverage. Our viewers on DStv and GOtv enjoy an unrivalled selection of football from around the world!
