Man of ‘God’ arrested for sodomizing 20-year old
David Livingstone Kagabwa, a retired Catechist has landed himself in trouble on allegations of unnaturally abusing and trafficking one Derrick Atwijukyire.
Atwijukyire 20, a resident of Kigunda A cell, Mitooma District says he was lured by Kagabwa who promised him a job in the neighbouring Bushenyi District. Atwijukyire alleges that he met Kagabwa at his grandmother’s funeral where the two discussed about finding him employment.
Kagabwa told his victim that he knows someone identified as Kenneth Atuhikire , a resident of Karubuga B village, Ibaare sub-county in Bushenyi District, who was willing to employ him.
Martial Tumusiime, the Greater Bushenyi Police Spokesperson says on Monday this week, Kagabwa and Atwijukyire met at Kati High School in Mitooma District and the duo rode on a motorcycle to Atuhikire’s home in Bushenyi District.

He explains that upon reaching Bushenyi, Atuhikire prepared a bed where the three, including Kagabwa, Atwijukyire, slept.
Tumusiime says in the dead of the night, Kagabwa and Atuhikire started inappropriately touching and kissing the Atwijukyire. They later gave the victim 5,000 shillings to shut up.
However, on their way back to Mitooma with Kagabwa, Atwijukyire made an alarm for help as they approached the Central Police Station on a motorcycle.
He further says much as Kagabwa tried to jump off the motorcycle and flee, police officers managed to arrest him.
Tumusiime says police are now investigating the matter and the victim has been examined by the police.
