The Jameson and Friends do, fondly known for curating intimate connections between revellers and
artistes, is set to return in a lovers’ edition dubbed Mapenzi, on February 24, at Design Hub, Bugolobi, a city suburb.

With each edition themed differently, the event has always, at the core of its formation, spoken to connection among friends, togetherness, and the ecstasy of shared stories, with an array of urban musicians making the experience smoother.

As friends and lovers keep on enjoying the month of love, this edition brings together a lineup of love-in-the-air musicians like Kenneth Mugabi and fresh talent Akeine.

“This edition of the event comes in February, the month of love, and because of that, we want to celebrate love with our revellers against a set of music that speaks to love, which informed some of the acts lined up. We seek to forge lasting memories among friends and lovers from such an event, not just listening and enjoying the music,”said Aly Allibhai, the CEO of Talent Africa, the main organisers
As has been the norm for previous editions, revellers are not treated to just music and performances, but get to connect through playing video games and a variety of board games.

While the funfair goes on, this time, an energetic line up of DJs will be geared up to take the night away – all at sh20,000 that revellers will have to fork out of their pockets.
