On Tuesday (night), Tanzanian President Samia Hassan Suluhu brought together Singer Harmonize and his former boss Diamond Platnumz.

The two artists met during a special Iftar dinner organized by President Samia at the State House in Dar Es Salaam.

The two could be seen conversing as they shake hands, an act that has excited a section of their fans.

The meet-up between the Konde Gang boss and the WCB President comes after years of beefing.

Harmonize fell out with Chibu Dangote during his exit from WCB Wasafi, where he alleged that he was treated unfairly.

A few weeks ago, Konde Boy had vowed to reach out to Diamond on the phone so that they could iron out their differences and focus on taking Tanzanian music to the next level.

Back in 2019, while leaving WCB Wasafi, The Never Give Up hitmaker argued that he was made to pay at least Sh21 million to terminate his contract with the label  – an amount he felt was too high.

Since then, the two stars have had back-and-forth arguments that gave birth to their beef.

Late President John Pombe Magufuli and other leaders tried to have the two reconcile, but all was in vain.

I was chasing my dreams and in that process, people started thinking I wanted to overtake Diamond. If you are keen enough all artists who have had problems with Diamond, the problem starts when they start shining. When they are still not popular, they are good friends. An example is Ommy Dimpoz. They were friends. I will speak since I do want people to see me as the bad person,” Harmonize alleged in a 2021 interview.

The “Atarudi” hitmaker further stated that things got so bad that he sought the intervention of several people, including Diamond’s mum, Mama Sandrah Dangote.

“All I wanted was peace. So I followed Mama Dangote and told her Diamond and I were like brothers, and we had come from far and helped each other in many ways,” he added.

Despite all the things that have happened in the past five years, Platnumz and Konde Boy are now back to talking terms and their fans are happy
