Alien Skin is on the verge of losing legal control over his signature brand, Fangone Forest, after it emerged that another individual officially registered the name under Ugandan law.

According to records from the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), the company Fangone Forest Entertainment Ltd was formally registered and trademarked by businessman Agumiikiriza Aguma Aaron in November 2023.
The revelation has sent shockwaves through the entertainment scene, as Fangone Forest has long been synonymous with Alien Skin’s music identity, street movement, and loyal fan base known collectively as the “Fangone Army.”
Feeling blindsided, Alien Skin has lodged a formal petition with URSB, arguing that the name is his original creation and a core part of his artistic brand.
In a letter dated 15th October 2025, URSB acknowledged receiving his complaint and has given him 42 days to present evidence proving that he is the legitimate owner of the Fangone Forest identity.
Meanwhile, Aguma insists that he holds legitimate ownership of the name. Through a sworn affidavit, he claims to have been using “Fangone Forest” as early as 2011, years before Alien Skin’s rise to fame.

This legal tug-of-war has now drawn widespread attention, with fans divided between those defending Alien Skin’s claim and others calling for the matter to be settled in court.
If the URSB rules in Aguma’s favor, Alien Skin could be forced to rebrand, potentially losing exclusive rights to the Fangone Forest name, a move that could shake up one of Uganda’s most influential urban music brands.
As the 42-day deadline ticks away, all eyes are on how the “Sitya Danger” star will prove his claim and whether the name Fangone Forest will remain under his creative control or be lost in the forest of legal ownership.
