Fresh news reaching our gossip desk indicate that incumbent lord Mayor of Kampala City Salongo Eria Lukwago isn’t in any critical condition at Aga Khan Hospital as earlier reported on social media.
It should be noted that some really frightening information had spiraled all over Facebook and Whats App during the night alleging that the FDC leaning politician had been admitted in the ICU unit at Aga Khan Hospital. The same rumors went on to reveal how Lukwago was struggling with Covid-19 and that was indeed on the verge of loosing his life.
Perhaps as a way of nullifying the false claims moving around , a source near Lukwago has told this website that the sitting Mayor isn’t in any critical condition as alleged .The same source goes on to reveal that Lukwago traveled to Nairobi just to have a comprehensive medical check up.
