Lukwago has never contributed a shilling to FDC – Mafabi
Opposition Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) Secretary General Nathan Nandala Mafabi has said that the party’s vice president in charge of the Central Region, Erias Lukwago, has never contributed one shilling to the FDC.
Lukwao recently sided with Katonga and disowned the Najjanankumbi leadership.
During a delegates conference held Friday in Lugogo, Mafabi said that he has heard Lukwago refer to the FDC as his party.
However, he wondered how, given that the Lord Mayor has never contributed a shilling to the party,
He said that as mayor, Lukwago is expected to contribute Shs 200, 000 to the party.
However, he says nothing has ever come from the former Democratic Party man.
“Lukwago has never contributed a shilling. I hear him say this party is his. He came in 2020. There is a demand that mayors pay Shs 200,000 to the party monthly. He has never paid for it. I don’t know if 2020 is an equivalent of 2004,” he said.
By the close of today, the FDC will have a new party leadership.
