Movit Products Limited, one of Africa’s leading personal care brands, has today unveiled its newest brand campaign, “Rooted in Nature, Trusted by Generations,” for its flagship product; Movit Herbal Jelly. Celebrating over two decades of consumer trust, the campaign honors the product’s legacy and reintroduces it with a fresh identity and three new exciting variants; Papaya, Aloe Vera, and Avocado designed to meet the evolving needs of African families.
The unveiling ceremony, held at the scenic botanical gardens in Entebbe, was presided over bythe Guest of Honour, Hon. David Bahati, Minister of State for Industry, and attended by dignitaries from the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS), and the Uganda Investment Authority (UIA), marked a significant milestone in Movit’s legacy of innovation and trust.
Speaking at the unveiling, Mr. Simpson Birungi, Executive Chairman and Founder, reflected on the origins of Movit Herbal Jelly. “24 years ago, I didn’t set out to make another skincare product. I set out to solve a real problem. Skin rash and irritation were common, and existing products offered little relief. The solution became Movit Herbal Jelly rooted in heritage and perfected by science.”
From humble beginnings, where jelly was hand-mixed in a single 600kg vessel, to the advanced technology used today, the journey of Movit Herbal Jelly is a story of perseverance, learning, and belief in quality over shortcuts.
