After sparking off a non physical war on social media about 2 weeks ago, the celebrated media personalty has once again opened up on the some what cheeky way she landed a juicy job with the Daily monitor over a decade ago
Using her 11,000 subscribed official You Tube account Sheila posted an interesting story talking about her colorful Media journey right from a very tender age
In the short documentary the self proclaimed Lil stunner confessed about getting a job at the daily monitor through fielding outright lies to the company’s top recruiters
Apparently in 2007 Daily monitor was looking for young kids beyond the age of 15 to cover the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM)
As it has always been the case Sheila got interested in the opportunity but her being 13 by then meant she automatically didn’t qualify.
However in the short documentary aired yesterday evening on YouTube ,the motor mouthed glamour gal genuinely confesses how she had to lie about her age in order to get the job
”Me and my dad had to lie about my age to get the job at the daily monitor.They were looking for kids beyond the age of 15 but i was 13 by then. I felt i had what it takes but my age was blocking me so i had to fake it” Sheila Gashumba confessed in the short video clip
