Kampala International School (KISU) held a 2nd successful blood donation drive at the school premises in a call to increase the volumes of blood at the blood and helping the needy.

The function that was attended by Ruparelia Foundation boss Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia started as early as 9:00am

When asked as to why this exercise was conducted, Rowan Osman and Mola Khamid who among the organisers said that they did so because they wanted to increase the volumes of blood at the blood bank because there are lots of accident victims in Uganda that don’t have blood.

The other reason they conducted the the exercise was because many Ugandans are stigmatised to give out blood so being an International school, they felt the urge to help this cause.
Also, it was a health week at the school and so this was one of the Corporate Social Responsibility CSR exercises they had to carry out.
