‘I said yes’ – singer Cindy Sanyu shared excitement on social media after getting engaged to actor, Joel Akuyo Atiku.
It had been rumored that these two have been secretly involved in a relationship for a while, until Atiku decided to get down on his knees to pop the question on February 2, 2020.
Cindy’s last serious relationship was with Itlian Mario Brunette – a relationship that bore a daughter. When the relationship failed to work out, Cindy moved on to a South African based businessman called Keny Muyisa.
She ‘stole’ Ken from fellow singer Phina Mugerwa aka Masanyalaze.
Well after falling in love again, Cindy has opened up on why she fell head over heels for Atiku; a renown actor, model, photographer and former university lecturer at Uganda Christian University (UCU).
The Boom Party star claims she wanted to date and bonk a man who doesn’t have a habit of farting anyhow and according to her, that would be a complete turn off. “…when i was still young, to me love meant dating a perfect person. All i wanted is a guy who looks good, stylish and tall. A guy who doesn’t do stupid things…nga tafuuwa fuuwa…”, She explained in an interview with BABA TV.

“..what people didn’t understand is that me and my man had dated for four years. I met him as i was shooting Bella…”, Cindy explains.
