Journalist and political analyst Andrew Mwenda has stopped people power offices in Kamokya and announced that he will be challenging Hon Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine in the race for presidential flag bearer in the recently formed National Unity Platform (NUP)

Mwenda who is a strong critic of both Bobi Wine’s people power movement and Dr Col Kiiza Besigye’s radical and defiance campaigns claims that he wants to ”ensure that there is democratic contests in these parties”

Bobi Wine has remained unchallenged for the NUP flag but Mwenda now insists the status quo needs to change if  the opposition intends to cultivate the spirit of internet democracy
