A day ago, Nigerian superstars Tems and Oma Lay were sent behind bars for performing at an event in Kampala Uganda something that defied the Presidential directive on social gathering as a step to curb the spread of COVID-19.

They were accused of negligently doing acts likely to spread infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.

The duo was released on diplomatic terms and charges dropped alongside their manager Muyiwa Awomiyi plus other four Ugandans and are expected to leave the country tonight.

The organizers of the show will be assembled in court tomorrow for further hearing.
