RolexPrenuer “StreetSmart” a new programme launched by Rolex Initiative Uganda intends to help small businesses such as fast food street vending bounce back as they continue to feel the economic turbulences of the pandemic.

The programme was launched on Saturday afternoon at Bunga Market.

At the launch, the young people of Bunga Market who are energetic and willing to learn were mentored in financial inclusion with the help of the Initiative’s new customized handbooks debuted “Ebalirira Yange” to aide business statements.

They were also mentored on hygienic meal making with the use of clean energy such as LPG, Waste Development and Disposal, Packaging and advantages of the use of modern kitchen wear such as Aprons, Chef huts, Gloves etc.

They also did Value-Added Food Processing around recipes such as Vegetable and Beef Rolex that were new and unheard-of products to the majority.

This programme is powered by Weyonje & Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities-Uganda.
