Tooro To Seal Promotion

Tooro United Football Club will be welcoming Luweero United at their new home at Mutesa II Wankulukuku Stadium on Wednesday evening in seek to seal the promotion slot to Startimes premier league.

Tooro will be looking to complete a double after it has defeated Luweero At their own home in First round at Kosovo Grounds Kasana Luweero by 2-0.

The Entale Za Tooro who remain in the first position of Rwenzori group with 27points from 12 league games so far this season with only two games remaining to finish up the season.

\A win for Tooro United will put it to 30 points and this will guarantee it’s promotion slot to the Startimes premier league with one game to go.

In the previous fixture Tooro United Football Club drew 0-0 against Ndejje University to Arena Of Visions whereas Luweero United lost their last fixture previously against second placed Proline FC at home.

In other fixtures of the Rwenzori group it will be a battle for relegation Survival as second last Kigezi Home Boys host bottom placed Terrazzo and Tiles at Kabale Municipal Stadium with the Gorillas having 11points and the Ankole Heats having gathered only 10 points from 12 league games.

Also pressured Water FC will be entertaining Nyamityobora FC at Kavumba Recreation Ground who are comfortable in the third position and have secured the playoffs like Proline and Tooro United.

The other game will be between Ndejje University hosting second placed Proline FC at home at Arena Of Visions, in this fixture the club that need the three points might be Proline in order to pile more pressure on table leaders Tooro United up to the last match fixture, however Ndejje also needs this win to put up their points tally to 17 and hence removing pressure on the chances of relegation.
