Listening to Ombeledewo, Martha Mukisa gives it a vibe. It is one of those songs one can easily fall in love with.
Songbird Martha Mukisa is one of the few female artists in Uganda who are proving to be very hardworking and focused.
Martha is steadily capturing the attention of music lovers, dropping sensational jam after jam since last year.
Songs like Ssebo, Ex Wo, International Local and Kikomando with Victor Ruz received fair airplay in 2020. But her collabo Sango with music superstar Eddy Kenzo at the beginning of this year introduced her to the masses. Sango has topped radio and TV countdowns for the last 3 months. On YouTube, it has already 2.7 million views!
With this Martha can musically stand alone…her single Tebatukyawa has enjoyed exciting success. It is one those songs TikTokers are vibing on lately. But still with all that, the talented sassy musician ain’t done yet. She is proving to be more hungry- thanks to her management, Black Magic Records.
Martha has yet again released a new love ballad titled, Ombeledewo. Ombeledewo is a Luganda word which means ‘You have stood by me’. Listening to its lyrics, they are catchy and easy to grasp. It is one of those songs one can easily fall in love with.
If the lock down is lifted and music shows set free, this bummy and boobilicious singer will be one of the artists on every bivulu promoter’s agenda.
