Juma Balinya leaves KCCA

Juma Balinya has agreed to mutually terminate his contract with KCCA FC.

Balinya signed a two years contract with KCCA FC on 1st September 2020 that was to run until 31st August 2022.

Balinya who has been donning shirt number 10 had a start an stop campaign in his first year at KCCA FC.

Juma is also a former top scorer of Uganda Premier League in the season 2018/19. He scored 19 goals.

Juma Balinya joins Moses Aliro, Samuel Kato who also agreed to mutually terminate their contracts while Moses Kalanzi, Keziron Kizito, Filbert Obenchan run down their contracts. Steven Sserwadda and Hassan Matovu have been sold to New York Red Bulls and Soltilo Bright Stars FC respectively.

Balinya signed for KCCA last year in September, inking a two-year contract with the Kasasiro Boys until August 2022. The former Gor Mahia ace who has been donning shirt number 10 had a start an stop campaign in his first year at KCCA FC.

Juma is also a former top scorer of the Uganda Premier League in the season 2018/19. He scored 19 goals.

He becomes the third player to terminate his contract following Moses Aliro and Samuel Kato who also left the club by mutual consent.

After his exploits at Police, Balinya transferred to Tanzania’s Young Africans and Kenyan giants Gor Mahia Sports Club where he enjoyed very brief stints.
