Frank Lampard will be confirmed Everton manager before the premier league returns from the break.

Lampard was fired from his job as Chelsea boss after the results did not go well for him on the pitch.

The Chelsea legend was fully backed by club owner Roman Abramovich with top signings Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Edouard Mendy.

Frank Lampard found himself clashing with some senior players and Antonio Rudiger lost his position in the starting line up.

The end result saw the player who has the most goals in Chelsea’s history parted ways with the club.

In a recent interview with Manchester United great Gary Neville, Frank Lampard admitted it was a mammoth of a job and would last for a short time.

Indeed it was. Is Everton still the club that will hand the former Derby manager the time he needs? The club are battle to stay in the premier league after terrible results with Rafa Benitez.

Lampard has a team at Everton to succeed. There a top internationals at the team to help him do that.

Brazil forward Richarlison, Columbian Yerry Mina, English forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin and goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, Brazilian midfielder Allan, Portuguese Andre Gomes, Frenchman Abdoulaye Doucoure and Iceland international Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Everton lie fifth from the bottom and they can’t afford more slip ups. It is a job the owner Farhad Moshiri will let Frank Lampard know right from the beginning of his assignment.

The former England international will have to let his players know they have to step up their game by putting in the work in training.

Lampard is known for his pressing style. He has little time to implement that. Had he come in before the break, he would have had the time to put the team through his work methods.

His style might not appeal to the senior Everton players. He will need a balance between the senior and younger players.

Thanks to Rafa who had introduced a few names from the academy to the senior team. Frank Lampard needs to accommodate them to help him implement his methods.

Nathan Patterson, Jarrad Brathwaite, Tyler Onyango and Ellis Simms have been handed opportunities by the sacked Spaniard.

Frank Lampard also has the ever running Demari Gray, Ben Godfrey and Nigerian Alex Iwobi who could help him inject the energy he needs to play the pressing style.

Moshiri will certainly try to dive in the last minutes to help bring in some names to the Chelsea man to start life at the Goodison Park.

Manchester United misfit Donny Van Der Beek is the name being talked about in the media reported to be on way to the club on loan.

However, the player has another offer from Crystal Palace. If Everton get him, he could be an asset for them in their attack that has lacked creativity.

Frank Lampard will need to be told that this is equally a demanding job which he must give in his all. Or it could easily ruin everything he has dreamed of.

It might be hard for him to land his hands on to another top level job elsewhere. Everton under Moshiri are looking at breaking into the top six clubs in the league.

Frank Lampard will know after saving them from the drop, his next season’s assignment will be to break into that bracket.

The ball is right in his court.
