Oulanyah’s unfinished mansion worth billions

Deceased speaker of the parliament, Jacob Oulanyah worked hard and wanted to live a flashy life.

Before his death, he lived like a king, eating life with a big spoon.

At the age of 56, the lawmaker, who hailed from Acholi Land in Northern Uganda, had built a number of mansions, notably, one in Muyenga, an upscale suburb of Kampala, where his vigil will be held and another one in his home village.

The one in Muyenga is big and swanky enough, for a man of his caliber. It has a big beautiful compound, with a garden of different types of flowers and trees, which spells beauty. In the backyard, it boasts a swimming pool, where the deceased lawmaker and his family cool off after a long day.

The compound can seamlessly accommodate over a thousand people. Actually, it has swallowed hundreds of mourners, who are currently converging to attend his vigil.

The unfinished crib in his home village, worth billions of cash, would be unique if completed. According to a video making rounds on social media, the late speaker was a few months away from completing it, but God had other plans for him. Built on about two acres of land, the structure is big enough to house a school or hospital if completed.

The late’s family has since asked the government to chip in and help them complete the mansion. Their request comes at the backdrop of the late Bank of Uganda governor Mutebile’s family, begging Sevo to construct for them a house, with the allegation that the late moneybags did not build any in Kampala.
