Student apologizes for vowing to snatch married men

Over the weekend, a video of two high school female students, warning married women to hide away their hubbies, to avoid getting snatched by them, sent Netizens into an unavoidable debate.

The two students, one believed to be 18, donning a school uniform, but with the badge not visible enough, issued a stern warning to careless women in relationships, to wake up from the slumber and hold onto their partners in passion, for they had returned from school for the holidays, with one mission; to mercilessly smash one by one.

“Ba Bba bamwe mu banywezze uhmmm…” Looking straight into the camera, the brave teenager warned as she sips on her bottle of Coca-Cola, with her pal in the background, drumming up support. “…Tukomawo!” she says before her partner in crime, she calls Mzungu, due to her skin complexion, interjects and corrects her. “Nedda si ‘tukomawo’, twakomyewo.”

“Abazungu tuyise nabo…maama, ate nga no’bwokunywa tunywa,” she continues without mincing her words, in a video which has since gone viral on social media platforms, and subsequently caused a stir, with a section of Netizens, bashing the two teenage girls for wanting to break other people’s marriage, yet they are young and still in school.

Following the backlash from Netizens, one of the students who appeared in the video, has finally apologized for the uncouth intentions. In the latest video, supposedly, after receiving a thorough beating from the parents as disciplinary measure, the under fire school student explained that she was recording the video for fun and that she has never wished to break anyone’s marriage.

“I am not willing to break anyone’s marriage and I am not willing to spoil anyone’s relationship. The video was recorded out of excitement. There was nothing serious in the video but just fun. I am sorry to anyone who has watched. I regret spoiling not only my name but also my parents’ and the image of the school. I apologize,” the remorseful teenager kowtows.
