Legendary singer Jose Chameleone was the headlining act on Saturday during Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s pre-birthday bash at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Jose Chameleone together with other artists like Bebe Cool, Sheebah, and Azawi among others performed for the birthday boy.

Shortly after Bebe Cool’s performance, Jose Chameleone stepped on stage to close the show but he spent most of the time ranting rather than performing.

His rant was sparked off by some Ugandans in South Africa who vowed never to allow him to perform in South Africa if he goes ahead and performs on Muhoozi’s birthday. “I’m here to sing because of my friend Toyota. You all remember he gave me a Range Rover. Some of you were not happy. But I don’t care. I am here to sing because of Muhoozi. Tonyumiza Kamwokya Tumbavu! I make my choices. Some of you want to make decisions for me. I won’t accept that,” he bitterly said.

“Some people have been saying that I won’t sing in South Africa or any other places if I perform here at Muhoozi’s birthday, hmmm, no one can bully me. I will perform wherever I want,” said a bitter Chameleone.

This rant clearly explained that Jose Chameleone had fully switched sides to support the yellow camp and their son Muhoozi who is expected to stand for Presidency come 2026.

In the end, it will mean that the yellow camp will have somebody to give Bobi Wine a run for his money as he attracts the same audience as Chameleone.

Weakening Bobi Wine’s support using Chameleone will also see the Leone Island boss smiling to the bank.

We shall keep you posted.
