Music producer Eddie Dee of Acton Records is currently homeless after being thrown out of his rental over accrued rent arrears.
The producer who has worked with a number of top-level musicians like Feffe Busi, Pallaso accumulated arrears of up to UGX 4M as confirmed by his landlord Mr. Lubwama Robert.
When asked why he had failed to pay the rent yet he works with some of Uganda’s finest musicians, he blamed it on musicians’ failure to pay for his work.
Eddie Dee disclosed that he has been working with most of them on a gentleman’s agreement and they’ve later failed to pay him. “We work on the gentleman’s agreement. Most of them have refused to pay.” He said.
A few weeks ago, another big-name producer Ian Pro was also evicted over rent arrears
